When driving on- road or off-road, TPAS keeps you on track!

Developed especially for vehicles driving in variable terrains, TPAS offers the possibility to quickly adjust tyre pressure for maximum traction. TPAS is at its best with an integrated air passage system (through the axles).

Tyre pressure
The ideal tyre pressure is dependent on a number of factors, i.e. the type of tyre, the weight of the vehicle, the number of tyres and the surface the vehicle is driving on. Generally speaking, hard surfaces require higher tyre pressure, while softer surfaces require lower pressure for optimal performance.

Adjusting tyre pressure
Normally tyre pressure needs to be adjusted at a petrol station or a similar service area, particularly when it comes to increasing tyre pressure. Decreasing tyre pressure can be done manually, but the vehicle needs to be standing still. Having TPAS fitted to your vehicle allows you to increase and decrease tyre pressure, wherever you are, at any time.

TPAS-System specifications
Electrical: 24 VDC or 12 VDC
Ambient operating temperature: -46°c  to + 85°c
Storage temperature: -50°c  to +120°c
Black out: system can operate without emitting any light, if necessary.
Tyre pressure setting: from 0,80 bar to 9,50 bar
Inflation time: full inflation between 5 and 10 minutes, depending compressor capacity.
Deflation times: dependent on tyre size.
(deflating a 335/80R20 tyre from 6.0 to 3.0 bar takes approximately 45 seconds)
Speed indicator: message when driving too fast. Can be adjusted to terrain type.
Terrain settings: Street, Off-road, Sand, Emergency, Half-load, Empty.
Clean function: At the push of a button, system
can be cleaned after off-road driving so functions remain active.

Air brake priority: TPAS will monitor and assure that the air brakes have enough pressure to operate. If there is not enough  operating pressure in the air brakes, TPAS will switch off automatically.

TPAS features and benefits
  • Maximum traction on all surfaces
  • Easy to operate
  • Adjust tyre pressure without stopping
